Followup Meeting - January 15 from 12-3PM for 12th VPA National Convention

Dr. Anasuya Swamy, Dr. Gayathri Prabhakar, Mr. GopalaKrishna, Mrs. Swarup and Dr. Seetharam Gowda, Mr. Srinivas Gowda, Mrs. Sujatha Gowda, Mr. Ramesh Reddy, Mr. Sreeranga Shivaiah, Mr. Sreenivas, Mrs. Leela Sreenivas, Mrs. Meena Gowda, Mrs. Kalpana and Dr. Cheene gowda, Mr. Prakash Bhadraiah, Mr. Babu Prabhakar, Ms. Ashwini Anjanappa

Dr. Anasuya Swamy President of the VPA started the meeting and welcomed all the committee chairs.
Dr. Gayathri Prabhakar requested each committee chair to give updates on their progress:

The following committees gave the update:

• Dr. Seetharam Gowda - Program Committee chair
• Mr. Ramesh Reddy - Facilities Committee Chair
• Dr. GopalaKrishna - Finance Committee Chair
• Mrs. Sujatha Gowda - Registration and Reception committee chair
• Mrs. Leela Sreenivas - Meravanige Committee
• Mrs. Meena Gowda - Women's Forum chair
• Mr. Sreeranga Shivaiah - Representing the Publicity Committee
• Dr. Anuradha Reddy - CME Committee chair was not present, but sent her update to Dr. Gayathri
• Dr. Anasuya Swamy informed everyone that her daughter Ms. Namratha Swamy has accepted the Chair position for Socializing committee. She is contacting all young people personally and inviting them to attend the conference.
• Dr. Anasuya Swamy informed that the Convention Logo has been designed by Harish and Sreeranga and she described the logo called `From Cauvery to Chesapeake`.

The next meeting will be held in Dr. Anasuya Swamy's house on February 5th, Snow date February 12th, 2011
