Sri Nirmalanandanatha Swamiji is an ardent disciple of His Holiness Jagadguru Padmabhushan Sri Sri Sri Dr. Balagangadharanatha Mahaswamiji (Sri Guruji), 71st Pontiff of Sri Adichunchanagiri Mahasamsthana Math which has the history of 1500 years. Sri Swamiji, with a master's degree in structural engineering, influenced by life's practical philosophy of Sri Guruji and with zeal to understand the eternal truth has earned master's degree in Sanskrit Advaita Vidwat. Sri Swamiji was initiated into holy 'Sanyasa' order in the year 1998. With the Divine Blessings of Sri Guruji, Swamiji has helped to establish and served institutions ranging from pre-nursery to research centers in rural districts of Karnataka, providing education to more than 14,000 students.

Sri Swamiji looks after Religious, Social, Health care, Skill formation and Educational activities of Mahasamsthana Math. On spiritual mission, Sri Swamiji has visited several countries such as USA, Cambodia, Israel, Sri Lanka and Thailand. Under the guidance and divine blessings of Sri Guruji, Swamiji has been serving society in social, educational, intellectual and spiritual domains such as Hindu Dharma Acharya Sabha, convener of Foundation for Unity of Religions and Enlightened Citizenship (FUREC), the Trustee of the Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust, Secretary of Sri Adichunchanagiri Mahasamsthana Math and Editor & Publisher of 'Sri Adichunchanagiri' Monthly Magazine (English & Kannada).
