Complete Rules for the VPA 2015 Convention Slogan Contest:
- Winning slogan shall be used as the Convention theme
- Shall bridge our farming ancestry to our modern-day life
- Shall have relevance/reference to Silicon Valley, the location of the convention
- Slogan shall be an inspiring, and uplifting – to the second generation in particular
- Under twenty five characters long is highly desirable
- Slogan to be in English, a catchy Kannada translation highly desirable
- Shall be submitted by midnight PST, December 31st, 2014
- The person with the winning slogan shall be awarded a cash prize at the convention
- A mention will be made at the convention of the top three runner-ups
- Shall become the exclusive property of VPA
- May be modified before use by the VPA 2015 Convention committee
- Shall be an original, and not copyrighted
- Shall not be published, or disclosed until the VPA 2015 Convention Committee unveils it
- The slogans shall be judged by a VPA 2015 Convention committee
- Members of the judging committee, and their families are not eligible to participate
