Which Airport is closer to the Convention Center ?

DTW – Detroit Metro International Airport

Will Transportation be available from Hotels to the Convention Center ?

As guests will be arriving at different time, VPA doesn’t provide any transportation from Airport to the Convention Center. The convention center is about 17 miles (less than 20 min) from the airport.

Car Rental, Uber or Lyft are your best options to get to the convention center.

What are the registration Check-in Timings ?

Friday, June 30:

  • 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (and limited service between 6:30 – 10:00 PM)

Saturday, July 1:

  • 7:30 AM – 8:00 AM
  • 8:00 AM – 9:15 AM (closed for Meravanige)
  • 9:15 AM – NOON

Wrist Band & Replacement

During the Registration check-in, every registrant will be given a wristband along with a Name Badge. Wristband must be worn during the entire Convention to enter the Banquet Hall, Forums and Food area. Replacement band will not be given.

What is the Room Check-in & Check-out Time?

Check-in is at 4:00 pm

Check-out is at 11:00 am

How do I check into rooms ?

Those who have Sponsored (Silver, Gold & Platinum), please proceed to VPA Hospitality Desk to get your room(s) keys.

Those who have booked the hotel room on your own using Marriott Hotel Link, please check in with the Hotel Front Desk to get the room keys.

Who is responsible for room incidental Room charges (room service, TV program subscription, etc.) ?

It’s the guest responsibility to pay for all the incidental changes. VPA will not be responsible for the charges.

Yes, limited boxed food will be arranged in the morning until check-out time.
